What we handle
The resume details you type, import or upload (name, email, phone, location, links, work history, education, skills, and an optional photo), plus the email address you use to sign in.
What stays in your browser
Editing, previewing, choosing templates, photo handling and exporting all happen on your device. Photo detection and cropping also run locally.
What is sent to others, and only when you use an AI feature
When you use import, ATS check, interview prep, cover letter, job recommendations or bullet rewriting, the relevant resume text (and, for interview prep or the cover letter, the job description, company name, and any optional notes you enter) is sent through our backend (Supabase) to AI providers (OpenRouter and Perplexity). Your photo is not sent. These providers may process data outside your country, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they receive. Please do not include information you would not want processed this way (for example ID numbers or health details).
Why and how long
We use your data only to provide the features you request. We do not store your resume content on our servers — it is processed only to generate the requested output and then discarded. We keep your sign-in email until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing — for example under South Africa's POPIA, and under GDPR or CCPA if you're in the EU or California. Email minikl9949@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Terms of use
This tool is provided "as is". You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume and for checking anything the AI suggests. We do not guarantee that a resume will pass any applicant tracking system, that job suggestions are open or accurate, or that you will get an interview or job. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the tool. Do not upload other people's information without permission, or use the tool unlawfully.
Photos on CVs are optional and are sometimes discouraged by employers; include one only if it suits the job and country you are applying in.
